I’ve started a list of Frequently Asked Questions. Just a handful at the moment. There will be plenty more as time allows.

How long does it take to build a blog?
It totally depends. Since I usually handle both the design as well as the implementation it can take up to a month, depending on the complexity of the project and the ease of communication (there's a lot of back and forth as we hammer out designs.) On average, it takes about a month, from retainer to live blog.

I'm interested in working with you. Where do we start?
First contact me to make sure that I'm even around. Sometimes I'm off exploring the last remaining wilderness or off hunting dragons or at the gym. But once we're ready to go, I just need a small retainer to get work rolling.

What's the process?
Once we get the retainer out of the way, I fire off a bunch of questions for you to answer. These questions can be found here. It's a way to get an idea of what you want your site or blog to look like, what you want it to do and what other sites or blogs you really like. This is a jumping off point. Once I've got a handle on what you want I begin the design in Photoshop. Once I have something to show you, I send you a mock-up. You look at it, decide what you like and don't like, let me know, and I make changes. We continue this process until you're liking what you see. Once we settle on a design, I begin the coding process. Typically, I'll set up a test blog here on cobaltkitty.com and build it there. When it's ready to go and you're happy with how it works, we upload it to your servers.
